Our Specialists in Assessment Services (aka the Test Center) are here to assist you throughout your college experience. Assessment Services administers required exams from placement through completion of Daytona State College programs. Assessment Services also offers exams to earn college credit, GED diplomas, for distance learning and specialized programs. Assessment Services Centers are open for testing Monday through Friday. December 16, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. – January 3, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. – Holiday Break
January 16, 2012 – Martin Luther King Day
March 9, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. – March 19, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. – Spring Break
May 28, 2012 – Memorial Day
July 4, 2012 – Independence Day
In addition, the college will close at 5pm prior to all federal holidays that are observed by the college, such as the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the day before Independence Day (if a weekday).

Academic Honesty, Integrity and Privacy
Test scores cannot be given over the telephone nor via e-mail, nor to anyone other than the actual test taker without his/her written consent. No tests will be administered without a valid photographic identification. Assessment Services is responsible for monitoring test sessions. Daytona State College does not tolerate cheating nor disruptive behavior. If an examinee is suspected of cheating, the test will be terminated and voided and the examinee will be directed to leave the area. The incident will be reported to college officials and disciplinary action may be taken.
