Wastewater Treatment Plant
Operation Level B
Instructor: Dr. John Rowe
This 15 week course focuses on activated sludge treatments, modified activated sludge processes, nutrient removal processes, residual solids disposal, and effluent discharge, residual solids disposal, and effluent discharge. The student will need Wastewater Treatment Operations, Vols. I and II, and Advanced Wastewater Treatment.
Scheduled as needed.
Successful completion fulfills course requirements to sit for the Wastewater operator certification examination, Level B.
NOTE: You must hold a Level C license in order to sit for the Level B exam.
WATER DISTRIBUTION OPERATIONS LEVEL 3 (scheduled upon request)
This 4 week course fulfills Florida DEP course requirements to sit for the certification exam for Water Distribution Operations Level 3. Cost for this course is $200. The required text: Drinking Water Treatment Operations costs $110.00
