Feb. 2 or Feb. 7, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Excel 2007, Intermediate
Presented by the Center for Business and Industry at Daytona State College, this one-day course builds on the skills and concepts taught in Excel 2007: Basic. Students will learn how to use multiple worksheets and workbooks efficiently, and they will start working with more advanced formatting options including styles, themes, backgrounds, and watermarks. They will also learn how to create outlines and subtotals, how to create and apply cell names, and how to work with lists and tables. Students will save workbooks as Web pages, insert and edit hyperlinks, and save a workbook as a PDF file. This course also covers advanced charting techniques, worksheet auditing and protection, file sharing and merging, and workbook templates. The course fee is $85 and includes a student workbook with a CD-ROM containing the lab files used in class. The deadline to register for each course is one week prior to the course date.

Photoshop Level 1
Presented by the Center for Business and Industry at Daytona State College, students will initiate a project, explore the Adobe Photoshop environment, determine the resolution and graphic type, work with selections, work with multiple layers, enhance images with paint and filters, identify the characteristics of various image modes and color adjustment options, save images for Web and print, manage assets by using various tools in Adobe Bridge.
The fee for each one-day course is $97 per participant and includes a student workbook and Knowledge Pack. This is a hands-on course and each participant will be provided their own computer.

Photoshop Level 2
Presented by the Center for Business and Industry at Daytona State College, students will use image-editing tools in Photoshop to manipulate and enhance the appearance of an image, create and edit vector paths, work with shape layers and masks, automate tasks in Photoshop, use the tools available in Photoshop to edit and export video files, and work with other Adobe applications.
The fee for each one-day course is $97 per participant and includes a student workbook and Knowledge Pack. This is a hands-on course and each participant will be provided their own computer.

Photoshop, Web Production
Presented by the Center for Business and Industry at Daytona State College, students will prepare images for the Web, optimize images by saving them in different formats and applying transparency to them, apply color management techniques, altar image brightness, and ensure color consistency to create images that are attractive to the widest possible audience who use different platforms such as Macintosh and Windows, create Web page layouts, export a Web page, create animations for Web and mobile devices.
The fee for each one-day course is $97 per participant and includes a student workbook and Knowledge Pack. This is a hands-on course and each participant will be provided their own computer.

Finally, students will learn about the analytical features of Excel (such as Goal Seek and Solver), running and recording macros, and sharing Excel data via the Web.
