DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Jan. 11, 2011) - The School of Music, Entertainment and Art at Daytona State College announces upcoming audition for BAT BOY: THE MUSICAL. This hilarious musical is inspired by the stories of a half bat, half boy who graced the covers of the Weekly World News tabloid paper. This Off-Broadway and West End London hit, has been hailed by the New York Post as “an instant classic” and the USA Today called it “a wacky, whimsical, and hip tour de force.”
The audition will be held on the Daytona Beach Campus, bldg. 230, in the J.M. Goddard Center on Friday, January 21 at 6 p.m. Come prepared to sing 16 bars of a song, to participate in a movement/dance sequence, and to do cold readings from the script.
