DAYTONA BEACH, FL (July 23, 2010) - Costa Magoulas, an instructor at Daytona State College’s School of Hospitality and Culinary Management, has been named among the area’s top chefs by Central Florida Restaurant Forum Magazine. Magoulas is featured in the magazine’s June/July issue.
Magoulas earned his associate of science degree in Hospitality Management from Daytona State in 1985. He also holds a master’s degree from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.
He is a recent recipient of the American Culinary Federation’s Presidential Medallion, and has more than 20 years teaching experience. Magoulas served on the college’s first hospitality management advisory board when the program was initially established nearly two decades ago.
