DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Dec. 10, 2010) - The Center for Community and Professional Education at Daytona State College announces a series of Spanish language courses to start in the new year.
Beginning Spanish - Learn the fundamentals of speaking Spanish. This course will focus on basic structures and essential vocabulary while introducing day to day usable phrases. Listening, speaking, reading and writing competencies are integrated in the class. Held on the DeLand Campus, classes meet from 6 to 8 p.m. each Tuesday starting Jan. 18, 2011 and continue through March 8.
Beginning Conversational Spanish - For the beginning student who wants to learn the fundamentals of spoken Spanish. This course will focus on essential vocabulary and offer opportunities to practice conversational Spanish for professional use or personal growth. Held on the Daytona Beach Campus, classes meet from 6 to 8 p.m. each Tuesday starting Jan. 18, 2011 and continue through March 8.
Intermediate Conversational Spanish - This course is for students who have either completed Beginning Conversational Spanish or have knowledge of the language. This is an excellent course for those who want to brush-up on communication skills. Held on the Daytona Beach Campus, classes meet from 6 to 8 p.m. each Thursday starting Jan. 20, 2011 and continue through March 10.
