About Professional Council

The DaytonaState College Professional Council, is a constituent group of the college representing the Professional Staff. First and foremost this council supports the college's mission and provides a forum for sharing innovative ideas and information to ensure the success of students, staff, and fellow members. It advocates for professional members' welfare, disseminates accurate news/general information about the college and acts as a forum to discuss and recommend Institutional objectives, policies and procedures. The council encourages dialog between the community and related internal and external stakeholders, and supports the success of the Student Government Association as well as other student organizations serving the college and the community.

The Nominating Committee is accepting nominations for all officer positions for the upcoming 2012-13 election. If you are interested in being our next President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary or IT Specialist, please contact any of the committee members below to put your name on the ballot. All candidates are asked to send in a brief bio to include for example your position/dept./area, length at the college etc. Note: you must be a DSC Professional Council Member. The deadline for name submission is FRIDAY, APRIL 27, 2012.
