Welcome to the instruction page to opt-in to receive text messages through Daytona State College Falcon Text. This page will assist you in order for you to "join" by opting-in to the keywords offered through Falcon Text.
YOU "join" by sending a text from YOUR cell phone. This is the ONLY way to join the program. The process is a double opt-in procedure.
- First you send the keyword for the group you are joining to 368638. You will then receive back a response instructing you to reply the number "1".
- Reply "1" and it goes back to 368638. Then you will receive instructions to reply the word "yes".
- Reply "yes" and it goes back to 368638. This completes the opt-in process.
You can opt out ANY TIME by replying the word STOP to any message you get from Falcon Text.
When you receive a text message from Falcon Text you CANNOT text back to the College. You are receiving the text from a SHORTCODE number 368638 only.
